Thank you for joining Friends of Indochine.  As we launch the new and expanded Friends of Indochine, we look forward to interacting with you so that we can update you on more reasons to come and enjoy Indochine restaurant with us.

History and Development of Friends of Indochine
The Friends Program was first ‘soft-launched’ in September 2007 as an add-on to our www.indochinedowntown.com website originally developed in late 2005.  The upgrade to the site was a success and Friends was a great introduction to the site.

We wanted Friends of Indochine to be a means through which we could send promotional messages to our customers.  We wanted to offer coupons, updates and more, but busy as we were with the new venue in Tacoma, we only got as far as the sign-up form to our website. 

Thank you for your support and faith in Indochine quality and service. The Friends program has been very successful!!  In the course of past 22 months or so, we have collected approximately 2,000 Friends email addresses.  As happy as we were with the sign-ups, we were even more thrilled to read the kindest comments that we could've imagined.  Time and again, We are moved by a new Friend’s feedback about our food, ambience, cocktails, our service; and we are most touched when our customers write about how welcomed they feel here at Indochine.

At the core of everything, Indochine is a family business.  This restaurant is an expression of our family life and we are thrilled to share it with you.

Social Networking
Friends of Indochine is designed to be the cornerstone of an on-line community of social networking that will give us the tools to:

• Communicate with you, our friends
• Receive feedback from you, our friends
• Provide a space where you can communicate with each other about past Indochine experiences as well as to plan your next visit to Indochine.

Facebook Promotions
Our first promotion: Wines!

Over the course of the past four years, we have developed a wine list of over 175 varieties.  To entice our Facebook fans, we are offering a select list of wines on the Facebook Fan Page at ridiculously discounted prices.  Here is a sneak peek: We have eight bottles of 2001 Carpineto Chianti in stock now, normally $40 per bottle, but now discounted to Facebook Fans at $25 per bottle. So come on in, and tell your server you heard it on Facebook!

Twitter Promotions
Twitter allows you to receive info on spur of the moment promotions such as bar or appetizer specials. The first Twitter Promotion will honor our first 50 followers who will receive 50% off on an appetizer on the next visit to Indochine.  Don’t feel obliged to share – it’s all for you!

So hurry up and hurry in when you follow 'friendochine’.  Twitter is easy to sign up, you can go to twitter.com, create an account, then search ‘friendochine’ to receive updates by email and mobile.  Even easier, you can simply text message twitter the following message, ‘follow friendochine’ at Twitter at 40404.

Flickr Promotions
Flickr can be used by Indochine staff and customers to upload favorite Indochine photos.  Every month the best customer picture will be honored with ‘En-GIN-Nuity’, one of our brand new cocktails on the 6 for $6 Happy Hour Menu. This is a celebration drink with ample amounts of both Hendricks Gin and Spanish Sparkling Wine.  So bring in your camera and let’s see those photos.

Our First Friend Of Indochine: Peggy Phillips
We would like to recognize our first ever Friend of Indochine, Peggy Phillips of Graham, Washington.  How excited we were when Peggy graced our pages on September 25, 2007.
